Nvidia Shield Android TV launched at CSE 2017 with Google

Nvidia and Google will help you to make your home smarter ever.

CEO Jen-Hsun Huang on Wednesday (4th January 2017) in CSE 2017, introduced new devices that tap into the Google Assistant, the virtual software that lets you do things like control your lights or search for a TV show by speaking the commands out loud.

Nvidia Shield Android TV Costs : $199

Including a controller and remote and is available later this month.

"We thought, why have two devices when you can have one?" Huand said during a keynote at CES in Las Vegas. "We decided to work with Google to create the world's first Android TV with the Google Assistant."

Google inc on Wednesday announced via a famous blog that Google Assistant, its Siri-like virtual assistant, is coming to Android TV.

Note : Nvidia Shield Android TV will be available on Android TVs in the US that run Android 6.0 Marshmallow or Android 7.0 Nougat.

 

"You'll also see the Assistant come to other new surfaces," wrote Google's Android TV director Sascha Pruete, "like smartwatches running Android Wear 2.0, Android-powered in-car infotainment systems and many other types of devices."
